Weekly Pool Service

Weekly pool service in Southlake, TX

Almost every pool problem starts as one skipped step or one reading left out of range for a week too long. Our visit is a fixed sequence run by the same tech, and you get a text afterward saying what was found and what was done.

What happens at every stop

Cleaning and debris

  • Skim the surface before debris can sink and stain
  • Clear the skimmer baskets and the pump basket
  • Brush walls, steps, benches, and the waterline
  • Vacuum the floor when it needs it, not on a whim
  • Wipe the scum line where oils and minerals gather

Equipment check

  • Listen to the pump and motor while they run
  • Read the filter pressure and act on it
  • Confirm the heater and any features respond
  • Check the water level and top off if low
  • Flag drips, cracks, and worn parts while they are cheap

The chemistry targets we hold, printed plainly

Balanced water protects swimmers first, then plaster, then equipment. These are the ranges the test kit has to show before the tech leaves.

ReadingTarget rangeWhy we hold it
Free chlorine1 to 3 ppmThe sanitizer. Texas sun eats it, so the dose has to keep pace.
pH7.4 to 7.6Out of range, chlorine loses power and swimmers feel it in their eyes.
Total alkalinity80 to 120 ppmThe shock absorber that stops pH from swinging between visits.
Cyanuric acid30 to 50 ppmSunscreen for chlorine. Too little burns off, too much smothers it.
Calcium hardness200 to 400 ppmThe difference between clean tile and a white crust you cannot scrub off.

Ranges follow standard industry guidance. Salt systems, attached spas, and water features carry extra checks specific to their gear.

Filter care by filter type

The filter does the quiet work between visits, and each of the three common types wants a different rhythm. Run the wrong one and you either waste water or watch the pool haze over.

Cartridge

Rinsed on a set cadence and deep-cleaned periodically. The most common type on newer Southlake equipment pads.

DE

Backwashed and recharged with fresh media. The finest filtration of the three when it is kept on schedule.

Sand

Backwashed off pressure readings, with the bed replaced on a multi-year cycle rather than a guess.

What the weekly rate does not cover

Said up front so it never turns into an argument later. Weekly service keeps a healthy pool healthy. These jobs get their own scope and their own written price:

  • Recovering a green or long-neglected pool
  • Replacing or repairing failed equipment
  • Remodel work: interior finish, tile, coping, deck
  • Drain-and-clean resets on very old water
  • Filter media replacement at end of life

Need one of them? Same number, same company. Remodeling has its own page.
